  • Directions & Cost

    DIRECTIONS

    From the Portland Area, travel south on I-205 to OR-213 (Exit 10). Proceed through Oregon City, Mollala, and Silverton. In Silverton, turn left (south) onto OR-214 for 12 miles to Silver Falls State Park. The campground entrance is across the road from the South Falls Day Use Area.

    COST:

    $20 per person (cost includes dinner on Wednesday, August 21, Vehicle Parking Tag (which also serves as Day Use Parking Pass).

    $5 per person if you have reserved your own space separately from the tent sites we have secured. Your cost for Family Camp will be to cover dinner on Wednesday, August 21.

  • Itinerary & Things to Bring

    WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 21 - Check-in at 4PM. Dinner at Group Shelter at 6PM. Church Service at 7PM.

    THURSDAY, AUGUST 22- Free Time all day for fellowship, hiking, and activities. Pastor Scott McFeters is planning to hike the Trail of Ten Falls in the morning and you are invited to join him. Each family on their own for food. Camp Fire Devotionals at 8PM at various sites.

    FRIDAY, AUGUST 23 - Free Time all day for fellowship, hiking, and activities. Each family is on their own for food. Camp Fire Devotionals at 8PM at various sites.

    SATURDAY, AUGUST 24 - Each Family is on their own for food. Clean up and Check Out by 1PM.

    WE ARE PROVIDING - The Church has reserved 6 tent sites that can have up to 8 individuals on each site. The church will also provide dinner on Wednesday at 6PM in the South Falls Day Use Area Creekside Group Shelter. (Shelter is Marked “D” on the day use area map, and is near the parking lot. It is reserved for our use all three days of Family Camp.)

    WHAT TO BRING: A Tent for your family, sleeping bags, flashlights, food, clothes and shoes for activities. (There are running water restrooms and hot showers nearby.) Bring toys, balls, bikes, roller blades, etc. IMPORTANT NOTE: The Tent Sites we have reserved DO NOT have electricity or running water at the site.

    NOTE: We ask that there be no pets that stay with you in the camping areas we have reserved. (If you are reserving your own site separately, pets are ok in accordance with park rules.)

  • Things to Do

    There is a lot to explore at Silver Falls State Park!

    • Trail of Ten Falls Hike

    • Many Nature Trails to explore

    • Over 30 miles of Bike Paths

    • Day Use Water Area

    • Creekside Group Shelter (Marked “D” on Day Use Area Map)

    • Large Grass Area for Volleyball or other games (if there is enough interest we can reserve a sand volleyball court)

    • Horse Shoe Pits

    • Fellowshipping and Games (bring your favorite board game to share)

    • Time to Relax

    • 15 Minutes from Silverton

    • 30 Minutes from Salem
