9/11 Patriot Day Recognition

On Sunday, 9/11, we will recognize Patriot Day and remember the terrorist attacks on our soil 21 years ago.

We watched as the course of American history was changed as more than 3,000 souls were lost in one day.  While the new One World Trade Center has risen in place of the fallen towers, the damage has been repaired at the Pentagon, and the debris from Flight 93 no longer is spread across the fields in New Jersey, the scars from those dark days remain in the lives of countless Americans.

Now, more than ever, we need God to work in our land.  Today, our nation is deeply divided, lawlessness is growing ever greater, and fear is ruling in the hearts of many.

But there is still hope.  God’s Word promises, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14).

Join us this Sunday, September 11 at 11AM as we remember and pray for God’s healing on our land.
