After 40 years of ministry as founding pastor of Greater Portland Baptist Church, Pastor Rick Adams is following the leading of the Lord to move into a new phase of ministry as a Missionary to pastors and church planters with Church Planting America.

On Sunday, March 26, 2023, Pastor Scott McFeters will be installed into as Senior Pastor at Greater Portland Baptist Church.

As Pastor Scott McFeters and Greater Portland Baptist Church move into this new phase of ministry, we believe the fields are still ripe for the harvest in the greater Portland area. Along with pioneer missionary William Carey, we believe “The future is as bright as the promises of God!”
