GPBC 40TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

Sunday, October 30, 2022, Greater Portland Baptist Church celebrated 40 years of “making a difference in Portland… Jude: 22!”

We celebrated and gave thanks for all God has done in the past, and cast our eyes “Forward!” to what He will continue to do in the future!

Dr. Charles Shoemaker, President of Church Planting America, was our special guest preacher for all the services on Anniversary Sunday.  There were be special guests in attendance, great music, and preaching on this exciting day in the life of our church.

In the evening service at 6PM, we took time to recognize and thank Pastor Rick and Regina Adams on their 40 years of faithful service at GPBC.  Every person in attendance received some special commemorative gifts and we enjoyed a sweet time of fellowship with sandwiches and cake after the service on Sunday night.  There was a photo booth where families had picture taken to commemorate this special day.
