Friend Day - May 5

In the middle of the busyness of life, many people experience loneliness. They feel like the world is spinning in motion around them, leaving them feeling isolated, unseen, or unheard.

Do you have a friend? Are you in need of a friend? Did you know that “there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother”? (Proverbs 18:24) There is a friend who said “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5). That Friend is JESUS!

Please join us for Friend Day at Greater Portland Baptist Church, Sunday, May 5, 2024 at 11AM. Here you will receive a warm welcome, enjoy uplifting music, hear an encouraging message from the Bible, and be introduced to Jesus Christ, who is a friend of sinners.

Following the worship service, please join the entire church family for a special BBQ dinner and fellowship.
